These tubes look really colourful and exciting, but you’re not sure what to do with them and you don’t have a scheme of work for them. What will you do next? 

Well, Boomwhacker® Basics aims to empower anyone to lead a Boomwhacker® session with confidence. Specialist and non-specialist music leaders alike can dive into a bank of fun, ready-to-go activities that spark really engaging and joyful experiences.

Using these versatile and accessible instruments will actively build learners’ musical skills, as well as their resilience, self-discipline, and teamwork. There are activities to try across all areas of music - playing, improvising, composing, moving, and listening and appraising and the tubes work just as well with a group of Early Years students as they do with Old Folks.

And it’s no exaggeration to say that Boomwhacker® groups can be really transformative for both children and adults. In our sessions, we’ve seen people move from thinking, “I can’t,” to realising, “Oh yes, I can,” unlocking confidence, joy, and a real sense of achievement.
